Race report

Polesitter Fabrizju Zolla was able to retain the lead through the first few laps followed closely behind by Vitale Scutari. Frenċ Bakere, who qualified last in the Grand Prix, reported engine issues by the end of the first lap and was forced to retire by lap three. Just before the DRS activation on lap three, Scutari who was less then a half a second behind Zolla went off the track at turn three, allowing Zolla to escape his opponent's DRS where he remained for most of the first half of the race. On Lap 20, Georgia O'Concannon who managed to work herself up to third place was forced to retire with a gearbox failure.

During the race's first series of pit stops, Zolla was undercut by his teammate Alfons Menegus who had managed to work his way to second place. Menegus, who had pitted one lap earlier than Zolla, closed a lead of five seconds by Zolla down to two seconds by time Zolla exited the pit lane. Following a lockup into turn seven by Zolla, Menegus was able to further cut down his lead to within a second. The two Renehans then began a duel that lasted for several laps, with Menegus repeatably attempting overtakes of Zolla but failing to overtake his teammate. Following an intense overtake into turn 22 on Lap 38, Menegus was given a team order to back off Zolla which he complied with. Scutari repeatedly reported issues with oversteering in his car, causing him to fall to fifth place in the race

As the second series of pitstops started, Zolla was the first of the Renehans to pit, allowing Menegus to take the lead of the Grand Prix. However, during his pit stops a conflicting team order about giving him hards or mediums, caused Zolla to be fitted with three medium tires and one hard tire. Due to having tow compounds, Zolla had severe understeering on his turns causing José Uribe Álvarez and Esteban Cruz Albeño to overtake Zolla, before Zolla was able to immediately pit again, exiting in fourth place with nine laps to go. Zolla would make up significant chunk of the time lost to third place Albeño, going from over twenty seconds behind to just five seconds behind with three laps to go. However, Zolla pitted for soft tires and secured fastest lap on the penultimate lap of the race.
