The Championship of Gjorka - Gold League (Gjorkan: Comórtas Na Gjorka - Sraith Óir), more commonly know as the Gold League is the top level of the Championship of Gjorka and the top level of Association Football in Gjorka. The League consists of 14 teams that operates with promotion and relegation to the lower Silver League, with the top two teams and a the promotion playoff winner replacing the bottom tree teams in the Gold League.
The league was founded in 1935 when Gjorkan football was re-organized under the Gjorkan Football Association. Since then the format of the league has changed very little, the only major change coming in 1983 when the League expanded to 14 teams. The league's two cup competitions are the Federation Cup played with the Silver League, and the Championship of Gjorka Cup played with all three leagues in the Championship. Additionally the Federation–Championship Cup (often abbreviated as the CC Cup) is contested by the winners of the two aforementioned cups. If the same team won both cups, they are declared the CC cup winner by default.
