Éire Green Football Club (Gjorkan: Club Caid Glas Éire) is a Gjorkan professional football club based in Éire, Gjorka. The club competes in the Gold League, and is a most successful team in the league. The Green have won the Gold League three times in 1979, 1985 and 2001. The club's main rival is with Northern Gjorka, but the club also maintains a strong rivalry with Mayfield.
The club was founded in 1950 as a replacement for the bankrupt Éire Athletic which dissolved in 1949. By 1955, the Club had advanced to the Gold League, and earned their first league title in 1979. During the 90s, the club hit a significant dry spell and was even relegated in 1994. After its relegation it was sold to real estate mogul Byron Mainey who invested millions in the club to return it to glory. The Green ended their time in the silver league after one year, and by 2001 had returned as champions of the league. Since Byron Mainey's death in 2005, the club has been run by his son Kevin Mainey.
