The capital city of Akhmola is Akhtau which is located on the coast in the south. Akhmola is divided up into twelve districts called Gercogtıqtar, where a Gercog has complete control over the area, the title of Gercog is usually a hereditary title, however some Gercogtar have been given the title by the Korol. The largest and highest earning Gercogtik is the Ахтау княздігі, this is the Gercogtik that contains Akhtau, However this title is usually owned by the current Korol.
