Bujin SsK (Monsilvan: 不尽上市公司; pinyin: Bùjìn shàngshì gōngsī) is a Monsilvan multinational technology corporation headquartered in Xuhui, Donguan. It focuses on artificial intelligence, online advertising and consumer electronics.

The corporation was founded in 1998 by two Monsilvans, computer scientist Ye Guowei and business-expert Zhao Jingfei while they were both studying for PhDs at University of Shangrao. Ye Guowei and Zhao Jingfei served as the company's CEO and chairperson respectively until 2009, when Ye resigned as CEO to focus on Bujin's Daohang product. Zhao Jingfei still serves the company's CEO and chairperson as of 2023; she is the richest woman in Monsilva and is considered one of the most influential women in the technology industry in Terraconserva.

Since its founding in 1998, the company has rapidly grown to offer a multitude of products and services beyond its now defunct Bujin Sou-Suo (Bujin Search). The Bujin Daoti is the company's brand of consumer electronics, mainly phones, tablets, laptops and smartwatches. It contributes to the majority of the company's income and are sold all across Terraconserva. Following Daoti, are Bujin's two largest softwares, Bujin Ni-Jia, the company's smart home brand, and Bujin Daohang, the company's satellite navigation service and application.

Name

The name Bujin is the Iberic spelling of the characters '不尽', which is Monsilvan for 'endless'. Co-founder Ye Guowei says that the name is supposed to express the endless possibilities of the company and the endless opportunities available to the company's product's users.

The branding on Bujin products uses the characters "不尽" which has caused some controversy with certain people saying that writing the brand name in Monsilvan makes it unreadable for foreigners. However, the company's Head of Marketing in 2017 said. "the 'bù' and 'jìn' characters are very simple shapes. Outside of Monsilva, they still mean 'Bujin', even if to people they appear like a logo rather than a word, they'll still recognize it's our brand."

Products and services

Web-based services

Bujin offers bMail for email, Bujin Calendar (also known as Bujin Rili) for time-management and scheduling, Bujin Daohang for mapping, navigation and satellite imagery, bDrive for cloud storage of files, Bujin Photos (also known as Bujin Xiangpian) for photo storage and sharing, Biji for note-taking and Bujin Translate (also known as Buijn Fanyi) for language translation. Bujin has suggested offering non-web-based services, however all of these plans have since been ditched. Other web-based services offered by Bujin include Bujin Sou-Suo which was a search engine created in attempt to catch onto the growing popularity of the service, however it was quickly overshadowed by much more popular search engines in Monsilva and was abandoned in 2007.

Software

Bujin assists in the development of mobile operating systems, as well as smartwatch, television, car, and internet of things-enabled smart devices operating systems. Bujin became involved in the development of operating systems with the initial introduction of foreign operating systems in Monsilva, which initially struggled to handle compatibility with the Monsilvan language. Bujin, along with several other Monsilvan tech companies, such as Tsujin Software, offered to assist in the development of Monsilvan language compatible versions of the operating systems. In 2008, Bujin introduced its operating system BujinOS, which has been used on all of Bujin's devices since its introduction.

Hardware

The Bujin Daoti 7, released in October 2022.

In January 2010, Bujin released the Kuanshi One, the company's first phone. It spawned a number of phones and tablets under the "Kuanshi" branding. However, the branding was replaced in 2016 by a new brand called "Daoti" which uses Bujin's own operating system.

In 2011, the Bookjin was introduced. Later, in 2016, the Bujin Ni-Jia was intorduced as a series of voice assistant smart speakers that can answer voice queries, play music, find information from apps (calendar, weather etc.), and control third-party smart home appliances. Originally released in only Monsilva in the Monsilvan language, it begun offering other languages as the device went international.

Bujin's headquarters are located in the town of Xuhui, Donguan, a few kilometres west of the city of Shangrao and close to the border of the state of Amking. The company has opened a total of 33 offices in Monsilva, Ostlandet and Ecros.

Environment

In October 2006, the company announced plans to install thousands of solar panels to provide up to 1.6 Megawatt of electricity, enough to satisfy approximately 30% of the headquarters' energy needs. The system is the largest rooftop photovoltaic power station constructed on a Monsilvan corporate campus. Since 2007, Bujin has claimed to aim for carbon neutrality in regard to its operations. In 2011, Bujin disclosed that it consumes enough electricity to power several thousand households.

In an effort to mitigate the negative media associated with its power consumption, the company has invested significantly into renewable energy projects, having put around ₵80 million into wind and solar farms around Monsilva.
