October 4 attacks (Icaris)

The October 4 attacks were two coordinated attacks on the government of The Theocratic States of Icaris on October 4, 2058. The attacks resulted in the deaths of President Eli Dupont, Vice President Dorothea Müller, and Prime Minister Clyde Schneider. The Blue & White Collective (BWC) claimed responsibility for the attacks. The BWC is a radical terror group associated with the Anti-Theocracy League. The attack occurred during a presidential visit to the National Parliament while the Vice Presidential attack was carried out while she was on a humanitarian mission in Padal.


Perpetrator

The attacks were perpetrated by The Blue & White Collective (BWC), a radical terror group associated with The Anti-Theocracy League. The group was founded by Benjamin Vorhees and Sebastian Wick. The attack on the parliament was perpetrated by Sebastian's younger brother Kyle, who committed suicide shortly after the attack was conducted. Sebastian himself conducted the attack on Vice President Dorothea Müller in Padgal. Wick was arrested in Padgal, extradited back to Icaris, charged, convicted, and is currently serving a life sentence.

Motives

The Anti-Theocracy League is a political action group that advocates for Icaris to separate church and state and not claim the title of "Theocracy" (however, it's use of the term is widely seen as symbolic and the Nanti religion's control over policy is minimal).


Attacks

An attack was also carried out in Pal Pak, Padgal on Vice President Dorothea Müller. She was on a humanitarian mission and at ___ Padgal time, a vehicle passed the Icarisian Embassy as she was exiting. The driver attempted to kill her but she was saved by security agent Johnny Sins. After being rushed to her vehicle, they traveled only a few meters before she was killed in a car bomb. With the first three members of the presidential line of succession killed, Santiago Franco was sworn in as the _th president of the theo states of icaris at 5:31 PM. delivered cool speech.
