The LG Éire' is the flagship of the Gjorkan Naval Forces and Gjorka's first and only aircraft carrier. The carrier was ordered in 2006 as part of President Joseph Marnell's military buildup policy along with two other nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. The other two carriers were scrapped in 2011 by newly elected president Roman Vanderburg, and the leftover scrap from both used to complete the Éire. While the Éire is a aircraft carrier and capable of launching aircraft it is more traditionally used as a helicopter carrier by the Gjorkan Navy.
