Gonçalo Delgado was a Tyranian born politician who would serve as Viceroy of Ilírica from 1706 to 1719 after a quick rise to political prominence in the courts of Montcrabe. Gonçalo was the son of a Montcrabin soldier who was serving in Tyrandor at Karalis, where Gonçalo was born. Gonçalo was brought by his father to Trurnia in 1668 after the War of the Trout, where he spent his childhood. He served briefly in the army from age 18 to 22 before deciding to join the Ilírican Trade Company. Gonçalo served as a mediator to design trade deals for the company and it 1689 he was given a royal request by Prince ------- ------ of Montcrabe to negotiate a trade deal between them and Tyrandor. Gonçalo spent several months negotiating in Tyran and finished the trade deal in 1690, after which he was appointed as a royal negotiator in the Montcrabin court and moved to live in Perelocusta.
