The GFY World Championships, also known as the World Yuchio Championships, is a yuchio tournament sanctioned by the Global Federation of Yuchio (GFY). The tournament is the most prestigious in yuchio, offering the most ranking points, together with the Summer Olympics yuchio tournaments which were introduced in 1992. The winners of this tournament are crowned as "World Champions" of the sport, and are awarded a gold medal.

The tournament started in 1909, one year after the establishment of the GFY, and is held every four years. Initially, the championships were planned to be held every year, but after the 1910 championship was delayed, the GFY decided to hold the competition every four years instead.
