Bartholomew (c. 1 - 64 AD) was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus according to the New Testament who has been credited as the founder of the Catholic Church of Illyricum. Bartholomew was martyred in Trurnia, Romanyan Moncamecia, in 64 AD on order of Emperor Nero of the Romanyan Empire. Bartholomew is also attributed to as the writer of the Gospel of Bartholomew and the Andaro de Svante Bartolomeo, 1,190 km pilgrimage from Etruricum to Trurnia in the nation of New Illyricum.
