The word squg or skug (Jackian pronunciation: [skʌ(ɡ)]) is a racial slur which is generally targeted against Sequoyans or people from the nation of Sequoyah. The term has been used against both Tribal and White Sequoyans. Due to its extremely negative connotation in some communities, the word has sometimes been rendered as the "S-slur", however, its use is not universal.
