The Order of the Red Eagle (Gjorkan: Ord an Iolair Ruaidh) is the highest military award of Gjorka. It is bestowed by the Gjorkan National Armed Forces to recognize "outstanding, significant and distinguished service in defense of Gjorka." The award is reserved for military members only and thus civilians or foreigners are ineligible to receive it.
The Order is often awarded for displaying significant heroism in the course of service, but is also awarded for service over a career such as Sheila Maguire, who was bestowed in 2007 for being the first woman promoted to the rank of General in Gjorkan history.
