The National Party was a Pro-Merchant political party that operated in Gjorka from 1835 to 1919. The Party was created following the 1835 Gjorkan general election where the Pro-Commoner Land Party gained a plurality. Fearing a commoner take over, the Pro-Merchant parties united to form the National Party. Following the dissolving of the Congress of Gjorka in 1850, the Party continued to operate but had little political impact thereafter.
