The Gjorkan Ground Forces is the land component of the Gjorkan National Armed Forces. Maintaining a force of 100,746 Active Personnel and 407,340 Reserve Personnel, the Ground Forces serve as the Armed Forces most recognizable component. The Ground Forces along with the rest of the Armed Forces maintain a high standard of quality. Unlike most countries Gjorka's Armed Forces doesn't accept volunteers instead relying on graduates from Service Academies whom have completed four years of education. The Ground Forces specifically rely on graduates from the Gregory O'Connell Military Academy, the National Military Institute of Gjorka, and the National Defense University. The reserve component of the ground forces faces much less scrutiny and is composed of former ground force members and volunteers.
