Morovan Madness, commonly known as Fandom's RP post, is a roleplay post which was published by The New Fandom Republic. On 3 February 2020, he announced that he was writing a "thicc rp post", but did not publish the post until 31 August 2023—a total of 1,305 days later. The delay in publishing led to the then unpublished RP post becoming a meme within the TRA Roleplay community.

Announcement

On 3 February 2020, The New Fandom Republic announced that he was writing a "thicc rp post". Despite his announcement, he has never made such a post. Around 109 minutes after making the announcement, Terranihil responded saying "this thing better be fat"; Quebecshire responded to Terranihil's remark, saying "Fandom takes 35 minutes to write a Council statement, this is normal".

Subsequent lack of posting

Attention was first brought to the fact that he never made a post on 22 April 2021, when Creeperopolis pointed out that no post was ever made, posting a screenshot of his announcement to #tra-general. Since then, the fact that The New Fandom Republic has yet to make the RP post he promised has become a meme within the TRA Roleplay community.

On 13 September 2022, The New Fandom Republic announced that he would be publishing the RP post 999 days since the post was made on 29 October 2022, citing that he would do it "out of spite" against Creeperopolis before it reaches 1,000 days since he announced it. On 3 October 2022, The New Fandom Republic stated that his post would be "epic". Despite his promise to post it on 29 October 2022, The New Fandom Republic did not publish the RP post.

On 4 May 2023, The New Fandom Republic declared that the RP post will be released 2,000 days after his initial announcement, which would have been 26 July 2025.

On 29 August 2023, Paleocacher asked The New Fandom Republic when the RP post would be posted, to which The New Fandom Republic responded by saying, "I was gonna release on the 31st but now that you have asked...TBD :maldtroll:". He later clarified that he would release the post on 31 August 2023, stating, "[b]ut seriously though I'm shooting for the 31st". He added that he and his girlfriend had come up with some ideas for the post and that he was "cooking".

Release

On 30 August 2023, The New Fandom Republic released a preliminary post in preparation for the official release of Fandom's RP post on 31 August 2023. As promised, The New Fandom Republic officially released his long-anticipated RP post on 31 August 2023. It was officially titled Morovan Madness and was released in two parts, titled Morovan Madness Part 1 and Morovan Madness Part 2, respectively. In the post's release, The New Fandom Republic stated "[h]ere's my rp post that I've been working on despite the haymakers Life threw at me haha". In #tra-general, The New Fandom Republic stated "I hate myself for taking so long :sigh:" regarding the long span of time it took for the post to be released.

Reception

Shortly after publication, Creeperopolis made a post in #tra-announcements announcing the post's release. The announcement read, "[a]fter 1,305 days, Fandom's RP post is up".

Not Gagium celebrated the post's release, stating "FANDOM POSTED :LFG: :LFG: :LFG:". He also remarked that he was "still beefing with the LCN as a foreigner when [F]andom promised to make his rmb post". Zloveshchiy stated that "[p]rocrastination is a powerful thing". Quebecshire stated "Jesus that was more than 3 years [...] BRO 3 YEARS[,] I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN YOU SAID YOU WERE WRITING IT[,] I GRADUATE COLLEGE IN DECEMBER".
