Syntsi, or Great Syntsi, officialy the State of Great Syntsi is a landlocked country in Central Ostlandet. It is bordered by Hazbin to the north, Baltanla to the north, and east, the great central Ostlandet lake to the east, and Uulgadzar to the south, and east. Syntsi has a population of around 15.4 million, making Syntsi the 6th least populous country in the world.

Syntsi is an elective monarchy formed from the federation of the Kingdom of TBD and the Khaganate of TBD. The federal council is the highest constitutional body in the federation, it's members consist of the monarchs of each constituent state, and four popularly elected members from each state. The president and vice-president are elected by the members of the federal council, although as only the monarchs can be elected to either position in reality the monarchs exchange positions every election.

Syntsi is situated on the Syntsi basin, which primarily flows through the Syntsi River into the great central Ostlandet lake. As a consequence of Syntsi's proximity to the equator and the abundance of fresh water, Syntsi has a predominantly tropical climate, north Syntsi is rainforest and marshlands, central Syntsi while still majorly marshland also contains sprawling grasslands, the southwesterly edge of Syntsi starts the transition into the TBD desert.
