The Northern Territories (Creeperian – Creeperian: Տերրիտորիոս դել Նորտե; Creeperian – Iberic: Territorios del Norte; Salvadoran: Territoris del Nord; Castillianan: Territóris del Nórd), referred to in El Salvador as the Southern Territories (Territoris del Sud), is a strip of land in southern El Salvador which is controlled and administered by Creeperopolis.
History
Following the conclusion of the Great Surian War in 1844, the Kingdom of El Salvador was awarded territory of the Kingdom of Castilliano south of the Salvadoran Range. Castilliano refused to recognize the cession of land, and as El Salvador was unable to enforce its claim to the land, Castilliano continued to control and administer the land. Following Castilliano's annexation by Creeperopolis on 25 December 1949, control over the territory was transferred to Creeperopolis. As El Salvador functions as a client state of Creeperopolis, the two countries have not resolved the dispute.
