The Dashan-class frigate is a class of guided-missile frigates of the Monsilvan Navy. The Dashan class is based on preceding Monsilvan naval warships. ?? Dashan-class ships have been constructed and are active. The Dashan-class frigates are, and continue to be built by, Dayu Group's Wantao Industries. The ships are also operated by the Jackson Navy.
Features
The Dashan class is an improved variant of previous Monsilvan warships. Modifications include a TB-250K towed array sonar system and a 16-cell Monsilvan Vertical Launching System (M-VLS) that is able to deploy the M-SAAM, anti-submarine missile, and SSM-700K tactical land attack cruise missiles. As a part of weapon system modifications, the superstructure of the Dashan-class has been significantly changed from its predecessors. The hangar and a helicopter deck on the stern has been enlarged to support the operation of a 10-ton helicopter.
The Dashan class provides improved anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capability than the predecessor class. The improved ASW capability provided by the SQS-250K towed array sonar and SQS-240K hull-mounted sonar.
