Noting troublesome sorting matters regarding Council of the Republic Bills (CRB), the Council of the Republic seeks to amend prior legislation on legislation

The League Government Declares:

• CRL#9's following passages;
  • Establishes: Bills will be labelled as such: CRB #
  • Establishes: Laws passed by the Council will be labelled as CRL (Council of the Republic Law) #
• Are to be changed to
  • Establishes: Bills will be labelled as such: CRB # [Number of the Session of the Council of the Republic]-[A letter in the sequence A1Z26].
  • Establishes: Laws passed by the Council will be labelled as CRL (Council of the Republic Law) # [CRB ID]
• Under this new system, this bill would be recognized as CRB #18-A, and a second bill passed under the same session would be CRB#18-B, so on and so forth. If a bill such as theoretical CRB#18-B is passed into law, it will be documented as CRL #34 [18-B]. This is to provide semantic linkage between bills and their law counterparts.
• The amended CRL 9 will lastly include
  • Understands: That the amendments included in CRB #18-A do not apply to legislation or bills passed or not passed on or before May 1st, 2022.
