The Battle of the Shaoyu Straits was an aerial engagement fought between the Pavulturilori Air Force's and Zloveshchian Air Force's elite fighter squadrons, which resulted in a tactical victory for the pavulturilori air force, aligned with the OU task force for Shaoyu and the near total destruction of all of Zeta Squadron's aircraft.[note 3]
