On 4 February 2024, the National Union for the Total Independence of Kwazulu Ciskei attacked the majoccan village of Arbal, in response, the Majoccan Army sent a convoy to the village the following day, however, the Kwazulu-Ciskeian Armed Forces mistook it for an incoming attack and sent Arlert Ar-70 Fighter-bombers to air strike the convoy which resulted in it being partially destroyed, upon arrival, the forces left of the convoy engaged the National Union for the Total Independence of Kwazulu Ciskei and drove them out of the village after 6 days of fighting. It was the first biggest battle of the start of the decade.
