The son of Víctor Pacheco Durán, Creeperopolis' all time cap and goal leader, Pacheco Hernández attended two secondary schools during his youth, played for the both of his schools' football programs. After graduating in 2002, he attended Antonio José Sáenz y Heredia University, then the unquestionably best college football program in the country at the time, having just won two consecutive national championships. There, he played for the Romerists as a striker, and in his four years there, he played in 120 matches and scored 85 goals. In the years 2003, 2004, and 2005, the university were national champions, with Pacheco Hernández being named the man of the match in 2004 and 2005, as well as the university's athlete of the year those same years. He graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
In 2007, he signed a ₡200 million colón[d] contract to play with Nuevo Xichútepa for four years, then a record for rookie professional football contracts in Creeperopolis. He only played there for two years, before being traded to Chalatenango to complete his contract with a ₡120 million colón[e] bonus for joining the club. During his time with the club, he won his first Copa Creeperiano title in 2010. In 2011, he signed a ₡760 million colón[f] contract with Adolfosburgo to play there for five years. He returned to play for CF Nuevo Xichútepa in 2015 after signing a ₡1.5 billion colón[g] 7-year contract, the largest contract in Creeperian football history. Since returning to Nuevo Xichútepa, he has won two more Copa Creeperiano titles in 2020 and 2021.
Pacheco Hernández has played for the Creeperopolis national team. Since his debut in March 2008, he has accumulated 50 goals in 117 caps. Early life
Alberto Alfredo de Jesús Pacheco y Hernández was born on 1 December 1985 in Adolfosburgo, Adolfosburgo, Creeperopolis. His parents are Víctor Emmanuel Pacheco y Durán, a professional footballer, and Elena María Hernández y Flores de Pacheco, a real estate agent.
At a young age, Pacheco Hernández began to play football with the encouragement and teaching of his father, who at the time was playing for Nuevo Xichútepa in the Liga Imperial. He attended Santo Domingo Primary School in 1990 in Nuevo Xichútepa, but when his father began playing for Chalatenango in 1991, he transferred schools to the Santiago Matadeltinianos Primary School in Chalatenango beginning in 1991. Beginning at age 9 in 1995, Pacheco Hernández joined his school's football program, Los'Apóstoles, and began playing as a midfielder. In his second year, however, he transitioned to playing as a striker. His school won the city's primary school football championship in 1996.
After graduating from his primary school in 1998, he began attendance of the Santiago Matadeltinianos Secondary School. As he did in primary school, he played as a striker on his school's football program, also called Los'Apóstoles, and his school won Chalatenango's secondary school football championship in 1999. In 2000, his father began playing for CF San Salvador, and as such, Pacheco Hernández transferred secondary schools to the Antonio Fidel Guerrero Menéndez Secondary School in San Salvador. He played as a striker for his secondary school's football program, Los'Capitánes, and won San Salvador's secondary school football championship in 2001. Pacheco Hernández graduated in 2002 and was named the school's "Athlete of the Year."
College career
In 2003, he was accepted to the Antonio José Sáenz Heredia University with a full-scholarship to play football for the university's football program: the Romeristos. Aside from playing football, he studied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as well as Judicial Sciences.
