Agustín Claudio Morelos y Escobar (Creeperian: Ագփստձն Ծլափդիո Մորելոս յ Եսծոբար; 5 August 1984 – 20 July 2023), as known by his alias "El Duro" ("The Hard One"), was a Paleocacherian convicted murderer of Creeperian descent who was the overall leader of Mara Salvatrucha within Paleocacher from 2013 until his death in a shootout in 2023.

Biography
Agustín Claudio Morelos y Escobar was born on 5 August 1984 in Liberty City, Paleocacher. His parents were descendants of Creeperian refugees from the Creeperian Civil War (1933–1949), making him a Creepero-Paleocacherian. He became a member of Mara Salvatrucha, one of the largest international criminal organizations, in 2000 at the age of 16.
In 2013, Morelos Escobar became the commander of Paleocacher, the highest ranking position of Mara Salvatrucha within Paleocacher. He was arrested on 2 April 2015 on various charges and was held at the Chicajun Remand Center. He was imprisoned there until 3 July 2016 when he was transferred to Portsmouth Gaol following his conviction of various crimes and his sentencing to death, 4 life sentences, and 800 years imprisonment. He was returned to the Chicajun Remand Center on 4 November 2021.
Morelos Escobar appealed his death sentence but it was rejected on 28 March 2023; it was rejected as he had earlier ordered the assassination of a Paleocacherian federal judge. On 30 March 2023, two days after his appeal was rejected, Morelos Escobar escaped from the Chicajun Remand Center with the help of Mara Salvatrucha members from outside of the prison. His execution date was scheduled for 1 June 2023 before his escape.
The Paleocacherian police believe that he is hiding in Little San Salvador, a district of Chicajun. The Federal Investigation Bureau (BFS) is currently offering a PSK§750,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.[1]
He was killed during a shootout with vigilantes on 20 July 2023 near Chicajun.
Personal life
Morelos Escobar's brother, Carlos Florentino Morelos y Escobar, is also a member of Mara Salvatrucha and is currently serving a life sentence in Paleocacher for trafficking a Class I narcotic.
