In 2 March, 2023, the VE Vechnaya was sunk in 2:30 AM by the terrorist organization, Crescent Moon, and allegedly, the Pavulturilori National Security Service, though no evidence was found to support the claim.

Two guards were killed with a bullet in the head, though the bullets' origins remained unknown. Reportedly, the staff and guards in the area heard a voice from the intercom of the drydock's announcement room, telling them that a "surprise inspection" was taking place, before two bombs were reportedly set off, causing the carrier to sink.

Alexei Volkov, the president of Zloveshchiy, made a speech regarding the incident, where he blames the terrorist organization for the incident before ordering that all military services are to search and eliminate Crescent Moon.

Alexei Volkov - "It is a tragedy. One that any of us could not possibly imagine. The Vechnaya, the eternal pride of our people, has been sunk. Sunken by most likely than not, the Crescent Moon themselves. For reasons none other than to restore their so-called monarchy. They've been a threat to our nation, our unity, for far too long. First, the Tragedy of Miro, now this. But no more, for today, I order all military services to search and eliminate the threat, once and for all. No matter the cost."

- This resulted in the intensifying of military presence and patrols in the country, with booths being established in various areas of travel.
