Background

Ajaki Military Occupation

After the defeat of the first Cherzian Republic the government of Ajakanistan decided to have Cherzia under military occupation. The people of Cherzia were treated badly by the occupying troops, being openly patriotic was punishable by death. Many suspected collaborators of the rebel government were sent to what the Ajaki government referred to as prison camps.  

Execution of Ruslan Igorvich

On 5th December 2021 the Cherzian terrorist Ruslan Igorvich was captured and sentenced to execution by firing squad. Ruslan was a symbol of freedom in the eyes of Cherzians and with his execution unrest started growing amongst Cherzians.
