The Neutrality act of 1968 (Reykani:Hlutleysislögin frá 1968) was signed on 1 December 1968 in Reykanes. It was signed due to the Ajaki–Reykani War eight years ago prior the neutrality act. It was terminated in 2022, 54 years later.

Background

After the fall of the Reykani Socialist Republic in the 1957 Reykani coup d'état, Reykanes became a democratic nation in 1957. One of the first decisions were to cut all ties with former nations, which supported communism economically and politically. As example stopping all transport of oil to Ajakanistan, which did effect them and this infuriated them in the long run. This caused the Ajaki–Reykani War in 1958. Democratic Socialist Party
