The Qinchao-class submarine is a series of Monsilvan diesel-electric attack submarines. The first boat in the class entered service with the Monsilvan Navy in the late 1990s. The submarines are larger than the earlier Hsiayan-class submarines, to provide space for a flank sonar array.
Exports
In the early 2000s, Soong Shipbuilding Corporation exported 5 Qinchao-class submarines to Kivu on behalf of the Monsilvan Armed Forces. All five are currently commissioned in the Kivuian Navy.
