History
The Leaguecredit was adopted by the Consulate of the Republic on August 9, 2020. It was effectively discontinued with the announcement of the banking bot's imminent removal on 21 December 2021.
Controversies
"Tim" Incident
On August 9, 2020, Terranihil created a purchasable item called "Tim." It resulted in Creeperopolis, Gagium, Legion of Mankind, Terranihil, and Karimun purchasing a total of 42,200,006 "Tim"s, crashing the "Tim" market. The item was soon deleted on orders of Quebecshire.
Later, it was discovered that Terranihil hid 3 "Tim"s which were quickly confiscated.
Calamari alleges that there is a secret underground blackmarket "Tim" market.[citation needed]
It is currently unknown what the name "Tim" was in reference to.
Council Delegate Estate Incident
On August 9, 2020, Gagium purchased 3,002,000 Council Delegate Estates after Quebecshire told the Council Delegates to only buy one. After being warned, Gagium sued the Consulate of the Republic.
Gagium stated on August 10 that "My right to buy millions of council delegate estates was infringed upon."
Gagium Incident
On August 13, 2020, Gagium gambled away 50,000 of his own money through gambling on blackjack. He then requested a loan from the Calamarian Financial Assistance Corporation for 21,000. He negotiated a deal for 21,000 with a 10% upfront interest rate with 5% interest every day. He then proceeded to gamble it all away via blackjack. He then requested another loan for 36,000, which was negotiated to a 36,000 loan with a 20% upfront interest rate with 10% interest every day. He then proceeded to gamble away the 36,000.
The Consulate Central Bank intervened and returned 66,300 to the Calamarian Financial Assistance Corporation, putting Gagium into 66,300 of debt. The Consulate then seized his Council Delegate Estate after he attempted to sell it to Creeperopolis for 62,000 and after he attempted to sell it to Karimun earlier in the day for 17,000 and 22,000.[1]
Gagium singlehandedly deflated the currency through his gambling.[2]
Spode Incident
On August 13, 2020, Spode scammed Legion of the MDA for 1,800, saying he would double Legion's money. It was ruled as not illegal due to a lack of notarization from the Consulate.
