The INBA International Cup is a world tournament for men's national teams held every four years. Teams compete for the Khotshir Trophy, which is named for the origin city of basketball, Khotshir, Uulgadzar. The tournament structure is very similar but different from the Terraconservan Cup for association football. The INBA International Cup has always taken place the year after the Terraconservan Cup since its inception in 1953. A parallel event for women's teams, the INBA Women's International Cup is also held quadrennially. It has been held one year after the men's tournament since its inception in 1986.
The INBA Tournament of Champions is a world tournament for men's teams held every four years. The tournament structure is the same as the INBA International Cup, but with individual teams instead of national teams. It has taken place the year before the INBA International Cup since its inception in 1992.
