In August of 2023, [[Pavulturilor|Pavulturilori agents]] on the [[Shaoyu Island]] found incriminating documents implicating the [[Zloveshchiy|Zloveshchiyan Government]] as perpetrators of a 44 year genocide on the [[Shaoyunese]] people which cost the lives of approximately 8 million people. The discovery sparked immediate action from the [[Ostlandet Union]] which declared the island to be a [[Monsilva|Monsilvan]] [[Shaoyu (proposed state)|territory]] and created a [[OU Task Force for Shaoyu|task force]] to forcibly remove Zloveshchiy from Shaoyu.
