The president of Montesayette, officially titled president of the Montesayettean Commonwealth (Quebecshirite: Président fédéral de la Communauté montesayette), is the head of state and government of Montesayette. The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and serves as commander-in-chief of the Montesayettean Defense Forces. It is the highest office in Montesayette. Montesayette's president holds a seven-year tenure, with no term limits in place.

Montesayette's president is appointed by the House of Representatives, the lower house of the National Assembly. Once elected, the president resigns his seat for the presidential term. The president can be removed from office through a motion of no-confidence or an impeachment trial. Typically, the president is the leader of the largest party, a position held by the Social Democratic Party since 1913. The inaugural president, Eugène Dieulafoy, was the first elected. Currently, the incumbent president is Léonard Dreyfus, who assumed office on 11 July 2015 after Rogier David's term ended. In instances where the president of the Montesayettean Commonwealth is unable to fulfill their duties, the responsibilities are temporarily delegated to the deputy president of Montesayette. The deputy president assumes the role of acting president of Montesayette during this period.

The president wields a wide array of powers, including federal law execution and enforcement. The president nominates federal executive, diplomatic, regulatory, and judicial officials. Additionally, the president negotiates treaty negotiations with foreign powers. Federal pardons and reprieves are also granted by the president. In addition, the president has the ability to convene and adjourn the National Assembly in exceptional circumstances. Furthermore, the president appoints the deputy president, who automatically assumes the Senate presidency.
