The Morovan Civil War began in late 2019 when Fyodor Ivanovich publicly outed Dmitri Rameus for his alleged homosexuality. Rameus took his own life, and Ivanovich declared himself Supreme Leader of Morova. Ivanovich's rule lead to expansion of the power of the Morovan Orthodox Church as well as the dissolution of the National Assembly.
