The Congress of the United Socialist States of New Illyricum is the main legislative and governing body of New Illyricum. It is a Unicameral legislature, consisting of the Chamber of Parliament. All legislation must pass through the chamber and be approved by a vote of more than 50%, with the Grand Marshall having the ultimate veto power.
Chamber of Parliament
The Chamber of Parliament (Illyric: Domus de Senatii) consists of 199 delegates (Senators) elected from the 20 states in New Illyricum. Senators are elected to Parliament via proportional voting every 10 years, with the last election taking place in 2022. The Chamber of Parliament also elects the Grand Marshall.
