The Pavulturilori Folkon War (Te Tihi in Tumish, and Război Pavulturilor-Folkon in Pavulturilori) started as a result of the expansionist policy of the Folkonian Empire, invaded the Kingdom of Pavulturilor in early 1749. Although initial progress was made by Folkonian forces, they were beaten and losses started to dramatically increase, leadeding to it's eventual surrendere in late 1755.
The war was bloody, with both sides suffering relativly heavy losses. The Folkonian Empire suffered especially hard, with reports indicating that they lost a significant portion of their army, approximately 450,000. Despite the initial numerical advantage, the folkonian forcess were unable to overcome the superior tactics and technology of the pavulturilori forces, which were equipped with more advanced weapons, including muskets and other firearms.
The war was a turning point in for the two nations, as it marked the first and last defeat of the Folkonian Empire. The defeat was a crushing blow to the empire, which had previously been considered an unstoppable military force, while Kingdom of Pavulturilor emerged as a dominant power in the region, and it's monarchy continured to reign until it's demise hundreds of years later.
