The First battle of Fălița was a major military engagement of the Pavulturilori Folkon War. while the flokonians were victorious, this battle marked the turning point of the war due to high losses.

Background

Following the Siege of Călimălintin, the Folkonian Empire had advanced further into Pavulturilori territory, after several skirmishes, both forces emmased on the fields near the town of Fălița.

The Battle

Initial Assault

The opening assault of the battle saw waves of frontal charges by the folkonian forces against the pavulturilori battle-line, with each of the waves being shot down by the pavulturilori muskets, the assaults ended after dusk of the first day, with the Flokonians retreating to the hills, however they were not pursued by the Pavulturilori forces due to low amunition reserves.

Folkonian Regrouping

By nightfall the folkonian tactical retreat was successful, with all surviving forces being able to regroup and plan their attack, and used the cover of night to surround the pavulturilori camp, however they were delayed until the break of dawn in their attack.

The Last Assault

At the break of dawn the final assault, the pavulturilori soldiers were surrounded by folkonian forces, whom have all began advancing towards the pavulturilori force, despite the effort made, the folkonian forces have eventually reached the position of the pavulturilorians and devolved into brutal melee combat, in which the folkonians were no match by sheer physical streangth, claming victory after killing every single pavulturilori soldier.

Aftermath

Even while achiveing undisputed victory, it did not come to the folkonians without staggering losses of their own, which leads to the majority of historians classifying this battle as a Pyrrhic victory, and the start of the downfall of the Folkonian Empire.
