The president of Montesayette, officially titled president of the Montesayettean Commonwealth (Quebecshirite: Président fédéral de la Communauté montesayette), is the head of state and government of Montesayette. The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and serves as commander-in-chief of the Montesayettean Defense Forces. It is the highest office in Montesayette. The president of Montesayette holds a seven-year term of office, with no term limits in place.

The president of Montesayette is elected by the House of Representatives, the lower house of the National Assembly. The president is mandated to be a member of the National Assembly at the time of the election. Once elected, the president promptly resigns their seat for the duration of the presidential term. The president can be removed from office through either a motion of no-confidence or an impeachment trial. Typically, the president is the leader of the largest party, a position held by the Social Democratic Party since 1941. The inaugural president, Eugène Dieulafoy, was the first to be elected. Currently, the incumbent president is Léonard Dreyfus, who assumed office on 11 July 2015 after the completion of Rogier David's term. In instances where the president of the Montesayettean Commonwealth is unable to fulfill their duties, the responsibilities are temporarily delegated to the deputy president of Montesayette. The deputy president assumes the role of acting president of Montesayette during this period.

The president wields a wide array of powers, including the execution and enforcement of federal law. The president bears the responsibility of nominating federal executive, diplomatic, regulatory, and judicial officials. Additionally, the president is entrusted with treaty negotiations with foreign powers. The authority to grant federal pardons and reprieves also rests with the president, as well as the ability to convene and adjourn the National Assembly in exceptional circumstances. Furthermore, the president appoints the deputy president, who automatically assumes the position of the president of the Senate.
