Askanelle, officially the Grand Armed Republic of Askanelle (Aarellian: الرآبوابلئك هأنتابآل ىدارآ اك اسكانآلوك), is a landlocked, medium-sized nation in Central Ecros. It is bordered by only one country to the southeast: Desheria. Askanelle's capital is Eskiiroraa, but its largest city is Haashmiiniitaa. The country is predominantly Realitist, with the largest minorities being Christians and Muslims. The national language of Askanelle is Aarellian, with many citizens speaking the Askani dialect rather than the International dialect. The Askani people of Askanelle are considered as Unjic: a race of people originating from Central Ecros.
Etymology
The name for Askanelle is believed to have originated from the ancient god Aaskenok (Aarellian: اسكآنوك) from the Askani belief of Realitism. Eventually, the Unjic people of the area formed the Land Under Aaskenok. The name of this ancient civilization would eventually evolve through language changes. Aaskenok eventually became the word for Askanelle in Aarellian: Aaskaanelok.

Images
Surrounding a file name like "File:Default pfp.jpg" in square brackets displays the image (assuming it is hosted here, or on Wikimedia Commons). But having the image bare and floating in the middle of our text can look bad.
Learning to add images can be annoying when they aren't displaying correctly, but they can make pages look snazzy. See here for more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Pictures
