The War that Never Was is an ongoing series of alternate history novels written by Tam Zakh and published by Dăbuza Publishing Works. The first book of the series was published in 1 February 1992 titled "The War that Never Was: Days of Chaos", and saw massive success within Pavulturilor. The series' timeline currently extends until 2001, exploring how a small regional conflict slowly escalates into global war.
