The Midnight Affairs is a name commonly given to the event that occured at the night between 12 and 13 August 2012, which resulted in the rise to power of the current Pavulturilori goverment

Course of events
The inital coup
At 23:00 on 12 August 2012 the streets of Pavulturilor's Capital, Dăbuza were stormed by memebers of the Pavulturilori People's Army , rushing to the Royal palace, they shot anyone who stood in their way, cops and civilians alike, at this point, the Royal Guard already stood at the Palace's gates, and the Captain of the guard alerted the army to come to aid in putting down the rebellion.
The storming of the Palace
after light incursions with Police officers, the Pavulturilori People's Army managed to reach the palace, only to meet heavy resistance from the guards, there, a firefight lasted for several hours until 2:00 of the next day, at that point the terrorits deceided to storm the palace itself, not long after, a whistle blow was heard, followed by shouts as the terrorists charged at towards the palace, they broke in and killed everyone.
Execution of the Royal family
after the Pavulturilori People's Army managed to storm the palace and kill all the guards, the royal family were killed with no hasiitation, along with the palace's staff, a few managed to hide from themand thus, survived.
The minute long communist rule and it's end
After the royal family was executed, the national radio channel got hijacked and brodcasted the following message "People of Pavulturilor, We, The Pavulturilori People's Army, have now just freed you from the royalistic tyrants, the rights of the working class shall be ensured, for we proclaim the establishment of the People's Socialist Republic of Pavulturilor, cheers-". and with a sniper's gunshot, the brodcast ended as soon as it started, ending the so called repbulic before it started to exist, the military finally arrived at the hour of 3:11 in the morning, and strommed the palace while using smoke screens to mask it's soldiers, the battle was still brutal, as it quickly ended up in close qourters fighting, until eventually the Pavulturilori People's Army was subdued.
The aftermath
In the aftermath, Marshall Meir Cohen exiled the royal goverment with the reason of "failing their most sacred duty given to them by god to safeguard the royal family", and took charge proclaimng the State of Pavulturilor, and that the Provisional Authority of Pavulturilor will "govern it until a suitable replacment is found".
