The Sierra Republic is the official name of the group called, New Eden, and it has unexpectedly entered the Second American Civil War. Its base is the Yosemite Valley and Lake Tahoe. Total number of armed men and women total around 5K total population however is around 500K.
History
After the beginning of in fighting within the US on 10/11/2020, residents and park rangers alike came together under the leadership of Michael. Michael himself having two brothers, we don’t know if they are blood related, Gabriel and Raphael. Gabriel had been chosen to lead the war to Fresno and on westwards towards San Francisco and Santa Barbara. Raphael will soon take the fight to conquer Utah and will hold his dominion there. and Michael will remain in the Sierra Nevada Range in at the capital and Nevada itself. With their recent seizure of both Carson City and Fresno, they now have greater access to more lands via airports and train stations.
Motivations
Due to the US govt exploiting the region and neglecting those not in big cities the Sierra Republic has taken upon themselves to unify those lands and to better manage them via true local leaders and the trio. Their goal is to unite California and Nevada north of the C190 to Santa Barbara and up to Oregon tripoint then west to San Francisco and Sacramento, and east to Utah.
