The Schipol Aerospace AH-7 'Lixen' is a twin engine, multirole, all-weather light attack helicopter, designed and manufactured by the Schipol Group. It was developed into the AH-F requirement scheme, and currently serves as an attack and reconnaissance aircraft for the Abersianian Army, Navy and Airforce.
The AH-X Platform programme was begun to meet the requirements of Turkish Armed Forces for an armed tactical reconnaissance and an attack helicopter. The AH-7 is the result of the integration of Abersianian-developed avionics, airframe modifications, and weapon systems onto the prototype AH-5 Scatch airframe, with upgraded engines, transmission and rotor blades. It is in use by the Abersianian Air Force and Abersianian Land Forces and other services including the Schisenflagts. The helicopter has a unit cost of roughly ₵7 million and an operating cost of around ₵9,500 per hour, making it an inexpensive option for light attack operations.[11]
