Novaty is the regional capital for the Saratovan district of Oghruz. It was former capital of the People's Soviet Republic of Novaty and the ancient Saratovan Khaganate It was founded by the Khan Tamur of Saratovan Khaganate, Tamur founded novaty to serve as the capital of his empire, it is unknown what it is named for as there are very litte artefacts from the time remaining. Novaty was annexed into Saratov at some point in the 6th century but there are few records to indicate what happened between the collapse of the Khaganate in 430 BC and the foundation of Saratov in 473 as the primary sources for this period of time are written hundreds of years after the Annexation of Novaty. Novaty is famous for being the most rebellious city having broken away from a Saratovan state 8 times in the last 1400 years, the most recent one being the Saratovan Red Dawn in the 1980's and 1990's, for this it has become a home of Communist and Socialist ideology due to Novaty having its own parliament and hence its own policing.
Novaty is famous for the Novaty Stadium, The Saratovan Socialist Party Centre and Tamur's Palace a 1:1 reconstruction of Khan Tamur's Palace Complex which is inhabited by the Duke of Novaty and (at times) the Tzar of Saratov, additionally, Novaty has the 2nd largest airport in Saratov the Novaty International Aiport which mainly services Ostlandet destinations and routes to the Yekaterinograd International Airport.
