The New Freedom Party also referred to as the "Newfies" are a political party in Icaris founded by Ashley Holme during the political party shakeup of 2076. They are seen as a merger of the social policies of the Traditionalist Party and the economic policies of the Libertist Party.
Foundation
Ashley Holme led a populist movement to vote down the Traditional party primary rules ahead of the 2076 presidential election. A month of limbo eventually led to the abolition of the Traditionalist and Libertist Parties on January 13, and the foundation of the New Freedom Party, Collective Progressive Party, and the Federalist Party. A large independence movement was also established.

The party has several positions as well as an administrative committee. There is a Chairman, Deputy Chairman of Operations, and Deputy Chairman of Policy Strategy and Tactics.
