The Mir M-8 (Slavic: Мир М-8), is a medium twin-turbine Helicopter designed by Mir Helicopters in 1960 and introduced to the Zloveshchiyan Air Force in 1964. In addition to its most common role as a transport helicopter, the M-8 is also used as an airborne command post, armed gunship, and reconnaissance platform.
