Legio XVII ("Seventeenth Legion") was a legion of the Romanyan Army. It was raised by Legate Tiberius Romilius Savottia for service in his expeditions into the future Province of Savotta. After the initial conquest of Savotta, the Legion was assigned to garrison the province and later drew new recruits from the province's Romanyan population.
