History
Raymond Thomas Lark Sr. founded the Paletaph News Agency in 2021 which became the Icarisan Broadcasting Corporation. The IBC dominated the news media and broadcasting in Icaris for decades and has received government subsidies which kept the company dominating their market. In 2047, Lark and his son RJ brought a lifelong idea to fruition by expanding their business into a media conglomerate empire, acquiring Polaris Pictures for $4.05 billion. The company acquired Vanguard Family Studios in 2050, placing their business at the top of the Icarisian film and television production provider.
