Gaius Sejanus Brutellus (231 – 166 BC) was a Romanyan general and statesman who led the Romanyan conquest of Illyricum and served as Consul in 197 and later as the Proconsul of Ballacia from 188 to 179. Brutellus won major victories against the Old Kingdom of Illyricum at the Battle of Arens in 198 and at Battle of Marantus River in 197. Following the capture of Illyricus in 197 Brutellus returned to Romanya where he remained serving as a Censor, before being named Proconsul of Ballacia, where he would eventually die in 166 at the age of 65.
