The Alliance of Revolutionary Forces for the Liberation of America (ARFLA) is an armed militia participating in the Second American Civil War. The group is right-wing, and adheres to Yakutumbist, Kabidonist, and Falangist ideology. The militia claims it is fighting a "patriotic revolutionary war" to "liberate America". The militia also claims to be defending the interests of rural populations of Illinois. Since the start of the war, the group has operated in northern Illinois.
History
The group was established in November 2020 following the mass wave of violence that followed the 2020 United States presidential election. The group formed from several sympathetic police departments, as well as local anti-government forces and street gangs. The group maintains control over several towns in rural Illinois, as well as some control near the Wisconsin border. Its primary opponent since the start of the war has been United States security forces, but it has also declared The Official Grunge Girls' Sci-fi Lit Fan Club as an enemy.
On November 11th, the group attacked and captured Rockford. That same day, it established the city as its headquarters and declared the establishment of the Revolutionary Government of America, an alternative administration.
Operations
The militia operates mainly in northern Illinois, with some operations in southern Wisconsin. The group is attempting to extend its control over rural Illinois, and has occupied a number of small villages. It receives considerable support from Illinoisan farmers and rural populations.
The group has received support from the National People's Coalition for the Sovereignty of Congo, as well as the Patriotic Front for Peace - People's Army. A significant portion of the group's fighters are from Congo as well. William Yakutumba, Kasereka Kabidon, and several other Congolese warlords are believed to have visited the group's leader, General Lyoa, on multiple occasions.
