Beliefs

In Veridianism, the Taphkisk people did not believe they needed to pray to the gods to be blessed. They believed the gods themselves blessed their lands and gave the lands to the Taphkish people. They used the gods as justification for their actions, thanked the gods for blessing them at the beginning of time. This way of believing was politically advantageous for the Taphkish people. Postjustification vs prejustification: postjustification is the belief that actions and material wealth were given at the beginning of time, that a certain people or group were blessed and they could be grateful the gods had blessed them. Prejustification is the idea that the people needed to honor and worship and ask the gods for blessings and actions with the gods dictated outcome. Postjustification believers do not need to interact with gods a certain way to be blessed, their actions were already endorsed. In postjustification, worship and faith were not needed, prejustification relies on faith and worship.

As opposed to Adasiatic Deusolyanism, Veridians did not hold the same god hierarchy. They believed Veritas was the god of gods and the god of direction and therefore ruled over all other gods. This was also the god that gave the Taphkish people the right to go out to the all the peoples and bring them enlightenment.
