Zion is a micronation that declared independence from Morova in the Zionian desert in the southwest quadrant of Morova. They hope to create a Christian multinational state under the leadership of Joshua Graham. The nation currently follows a tribal system of government, with Joshua Graham having been voted as War Chief of Zion by the residents of New Canaan. With the Zionian Declaration of Independence, released in a statement by Joshua Graham to Morovan Public Radio, Graham declared Zion's independence as a safe harbor for the Christian religion. Zion is essentially a protest state, protesting the athiesm, anti-religious fervor, and dictatorship propagated by Morova. Zion views itself as A light in the darkness of the world. It hopes to provide asylum for all Christian refugees, as well as it hopes to use violence to purify the island of Morova from the so-called corruption of the Morovan government.
